Shelter

Tents, Tarps & Photoblinds

A good shelter protects me from the elements and provides a basecamp where I can rest and keep my equipment ready for the job – regardless if it is heavy rain or a raging snow storm.

CAMERA EQUIPMENT

Photography is the main focus and I always try using the equipment that works best for me. I am not locked to a single brand, but instead I simply use what I find best for the job.

GPS Handheld and Satellite Communicator

Lightweight and Compact Handheld Satellite Communicator.

Iridium 9575 Extreme

Safety & Navigation

satellite communication & GPS

Being able to navigate is extremely important and while buying a GPS is nice, investing in safety is a bit like buying toilet paper – really boring to buy but one day you will regret it if you don’t!

Functionality, durability and uncompromising quality are the key points I am looking for when choosing the equipment for my expeditions and winter adventures. I need to trust my equipment one hundred percent, and I need it to last for many years. My clothes are my shelter that keeps me warm and dry in even the roughest conditions, and only the best is good enough. I bought my first pair of Klättermusen Freke trousers in 2010 and I am still using the same pair on my expeditions.

REAL Turmat

EQUIPMENT SPONSOR

SINCE 2018

Being away for a day or two on short trips, I often just bring some cheese, bread, beef and other good stuff – just because it is possible. Going on longer trips or trips with a lot of walking is another thing, and here I am choosing my food carefully. I am looking for healthy food with the right nutritious balance and something lightweight with a great taste. I have tried almost every brand and for me Real Turmat is the very best in its field.

Åsnes

EQUIPMENT SPONSOR

SINCE 2018

On my winter trips, I am always using pulks and skis, and since I am always doing off grid cross country skiing in less than ideal terrain I need some skis that can withstand a lot. In the Sirius Dogsled Patrol we used Åsness skis. I have been skiing more than 10.000 kilometres in the most demanding and extreme conditions with them. I feel I know them, and therefore Åsness is my first choice for expedition and tour skis.
Åsness has been my ski sponsor since 2018
