biography
I find silence and serenity in myself when I spend time in nature and feel its authenticity. When the blizzard is raging, when the rain and the wind make animals and people seek shelter, or when night descends over the forest. For me, it is not only about getting the perfect picture of an animal or a bird but more about capturing the uniquely intense mood or feeling that I only experience in the wild nature.
Adventure as my guide
Starting in 2005, I served two years in one of the Danish military special forces, the Sirius Patrol. I have spent two further years in the northern parts of Greenland meeting the local people and working on photography projects. My driving force is a sense of adventure, my fascination for nature and my curiosity and empathy for other cultures. From the indigenous peoples of South America to Greenlanders in the northernmost settlements, it has led me to many remote regions.

Adventure as my guide
For me nothing is better than spending some days in the forest, combining bushcraft and wildlife photography. Something happens to my mind when sitting next to the campfire cooking my food, listening to the wind in the trees and watching all the beauty of nature.
