Nursing Badger Cubs
Outside the photo blind nature seems so peaceful and quiet. Only sounds are the rooks in the treetops and the buzzing insects. I am here to photograph the foxes living on this protected island and therefore I have set up my blind near a fox den.
Suddenly the ferns are rustling in the opposite direction of where I am pointing my camera and as I look out the small window, I am very surprised. Less than 25 meters away a badger mum is nursing two large cubs and luckily, I manage to capture this moment without disturbing this fascinating moment.
