The Arctic Hare
During my two-month stay at a weather station in Northeast Greenland I worked a lot with the arctic hares and the arctic foxes. Every afternoon the hares would come down from the mountains to feed on the sheltered plateau near the station.
This was a great opportunity for me as they otherwise could be very difficult to find with the number of hours with daylight at this time of the year.
This day was a gift. Blowing snow, low sun and a hare posing. One of these days that become a great memory.
